Our popular YardTenders are state-of-the-art backpack sprayers designed for both professional and home use.

The 389E model uses a powerful internal piston pump that requires no tools to service or repair, and generates the highest available spraying pressure - up to 168 psi. Plus, a mechanical agitator, which allows the use of wettable powders, comes installed in every unit.

A Functional 4-Gallon Tank

The YardTender 389E features a distinctive, rounded tank that has an actual and operating capacity of four gallons, making it comfortable to wear, yet with space to handle most spraying jobs.

A Powerful Internal Piston Pump

The pumping system of the YardTender 389E is built for top performance. Our G8 piston is built for durability. Because the pump cylinder is recessed underneath the tank, fluids flow by gravity, which means it requires less effort to pressurize the tank. And the 389E's high pressure capability can produce a finer spray pattern that uses chemicals more efficiently.
